Valentine’s Day Steak Salad

Ingredients: Serves 2

  • 8 oz rib-eye steak
  • 4 oz packed salad such as baby arugula mix
  • 1/4 yellow bell pepper, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 stalk broccoli, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 4 cherry tomatoes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp olive oil
  • Kewpie Roasted Garlic and Onion Dressing

Directions

  1. In a small pot, boil water and cook broccoli for 1 minute. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a frying pan, heat oil and cook steak to desired doneness. Remove from the pan and cut into 1-inch slices. Set aside.
  3. On a serving plate, arrange half of the salad mix in the shape of a heart. Place steak slices over the salad. Decorate with broccoli, bell pepper, and tomatoes. Drizzle dressing over the salad and repeat the procedure on a second plate. Serve immediately.
