Kewpie Caesar Salad with Homemade Croutons
Ingredients: Serves 2
For the Croutons
- 3oz. baguettes, cut into ¾-inch cubes
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- ¼ tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. parmesan cheese
For the Salad
- 1 head romaine lettuce, torn into bite-size pieces
- ½ cup shaved parmesan cheese
- ½ cup KEWPIE Caesar Dressing
Directions
1. Prepare the Croutons:
- Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- On the prepared baking sheet, add baguette cubes and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic powder and toss until evenly coated.
- Bake in the middle rack of the oven until crispy and golden, about 10 minutes, stirring once halfway through to ensure evenly browning. Remove from the oven, and sprinkle the cheese evenly. Set aside to cool.
2. Assemble the Salad:
- Arrange romaine lettuce on serving plates.
- Top with shaved parmesan cheese and crouton. Drizzle with dressing and serve immediately.
