Kewpie Seaweed & Avocado Toast
Ingredients: Serves 1
- 1 slice bread of your choice
- 1 pack roasted seaweed snack
- 2 tsp. water
- 1 Tbsp. KEWPIE Mayonnaise
- ½ medium size avocado
- kosher salt and black sesame seed for topping (optional)
Directions
1. Prepare the Seaweed Mayonnaise:
- In a small microwave-safe bowl, place seaweed, tearing it into bite-size pieces by hand. Add water and cover lightly with a plastic wrap.
- Heat in the microwave on high for 45 seconds. Remove and let cool.
- Mix seaweed mixture with a spoon until all seaweed is softened and becomes paste-like. Combine with KEWPIE Mayonnaise and set aside.
2. Prepare the Avocado:
- In a small bowl, mash avocado using the fork. Set aside
3. Prepare the Toast:
- Toast bread slice in the toaster until lightly brown. Remove and set aside.
4. Assemble the Toast:
- Place the toast on the serving plate.
- Spread seaweed mayonnaise evenly, then top with mashed avocado.
- Sprinkle kosher salt and black sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
