Kewpie Seaweed & Avocado Toast

Ingredients: Serves 1

  • 1 slice bread of your choice
  • 1 pack roasted seaweed snack
  • 2 tsp. water
  • 1 Tbsp. KEWPIE Mayonnaise
  • ½ medium size avocado
  • kosher salt and black sesame seed for topping (optional)
 

Directions

1. Prepare the Seaweed Mayonnaise:

    • In a small microwave-safe bowl, place seaweed, tearing it into bite-size pieces by hand. Add water and cover lightly with a plastic wrap.
    • Heat in the microwave on high for 45 seconds. Remove and let cool.
    • Mix seaweed mixture with a spoon until all seaweed is softened and becomes paste-like. Combine with KEWPIE Mayonnaise and set aside.

2. Prepare the Avocado:

    • In a small bowl, mash avocado using the fork. Set aside

3. Prepare the Toast:

    • Toast bread slice in the toaster until lightly brown. Remove and set aside.

4. Assemble the Toast:

    • Place the toast on the serving plate.
    • Spread seaweed mayonnaise evenly, then top with mashed avocado.
    • Sprinkle kosher salt and black sesame seeds if desired. Serve immediately.
