Veggie & Hummus Wrap
Ingredients: Serves 2
For the Hummus
- ½ cup KEWPIE Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing
- 1 (15oz) can garbanzo beans, drained
- 2 cloves garlic
For the Wraps
- 2 large flour tortillas
- 2 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 cups packaged green leaf salad
- 2 Tbsp. KEWPIE Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing
- Your choice of vegetables such as:
o Avocado
o Red onion
o Tomatoes
o Cucumber
o Pickled beet slices
o Olives
o Roasted red pepper
Directions
1. Prepare the Hummus:
- In a food processor, combine the KEWPIE Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing, drained garbanzo beans, and garlic cloves.
- Blend until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Set aside.
2. Prepare the Salad:
- In a bowl, gently toss the green leaf salad with 2 Tbsp. of KEWPIE Deep-Roasted Sesame Dressing. Set aside.
3. Assemble the Wraps:
- Lay out a large flour tortilla on a clean surface.
- Spread about ⅓ cup of the prepared hummus evenly over the tortilla, leaving a small border around the edges.
- Add half of the dressed salad mixture in the center of the tortilla.
- Place a slice of Swiss cheese over the salad.
- Add your choice of additional vegetables on top of the cheese.
- Carefully fold in the sides of the tortilla and roll it up tightly, enclosing all the ingredients.
- Repeat the process with the second tortilla and remaining ingredients.
4. Serve:
- Cut each wrap in half diagonally and serve immediately.
